First United Presbyterian Church of Troy, New York

First United Presbyterian Church streams a weekly service on Facebook and YouTube. I create materials for the livestream and produce some of the broadcasts. This site showcases the resources developed for the livestream.

Images

Images created for FUPC are used in the slides and videos shown during the singing of hymns and other parts of the service. Samples are shown below.

Videos

During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, videos were essential. Now, videos are created less frequently. They are typically used for hymns and other purposes, such as meditation, before the start of services.

Audio

During the COVID-19 pandemic, First United's musicians and choir recorded their parts separately.  I used Apples, Garageband  to assemble the parts into a single piece.  While not named at the time of production, this group of musicians eventually went by First United Virtualeers

Slide Decks

Slide decks are the main stay of live stream services.  A deck is created for each hymn sung in a service.  The background, text style and color are usually consistent with the service template.   Images are selected to match the verses, theme of the hymn or theme of the service.  Slide decks are available to use under Creative Commons licenses.
