Space Walk

Spacewalk was one of my first animation projects. We had previously created a walk sequence. Our mission was to place our walk sequence in an environment and create to impression of movement by having different layers of motion. Since I am not good at drawing, I used AI to create the image of the robot. I disassembled the robot in to separate arm and leg components that could move independently of each other. The lunar landscape was a picture was from the Apollo 17 mission. This was was split up and backfilled using AI to allow independent movement of the foreground, mid ground and background. The city, and picture of the moon came from separete resources. The flying spaceships were miniturized pictures of the space shuttle.
